I am a non-denominational wedding officiant from Mitchell, SD.
I have performed many ceremonies since 2014, providing services specific to each couple,
to help give them the best experience possible for their big day.

Basic Ceremony
This is the basic traditional script (example on the scripts page)
Can make minimal changes where needed.

Add a custom (novelty) wedding certificate

Custom Ceremony
I begin this process by giving the couple a short questionnaire, to better understand their requests and goals for the ceremony.

I write a completely custom ceremony, and allow the couple to review it before the ceremony upon request.
​
I also include a custom (novelty) wedding certificate in almost any theme requested.

Scripts
Basic Ceremony Script
We are gathered here today to join these two people in marriage.
​
*To Groom* Do you take this woman to be your wife, to love her, honor her, to comfort her, to be with in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?
*Groom answers*

*To Bride* Do you take this man to be your husband, to love him, honor him, to comfort him, to be with in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?
*Bride answers*

*To Groom* Repeat after me:
"I (his name) take you (her name) to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."

*To bride* Repeat after me:
"I (her name) take you (his name) to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."

Groom places ring on bride's finger and repeats: "With this ring, I take you as my wife"
​
Bride places ring on groom's finger and repeats: "With this ring, I take you as my husband"

By the power in my, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride.

In life, we all begin our journey down our own personal paths. Along the way, we experience joy, hardships, adventure, and many other curves and bumps in the road, that slowly shapes and forms who we are as individuals.
​
Sometimes in life, we find that our path merges with someone elses, and suddenly we feel that our journey is enriched with their company, and that the treck is easier with them traveling along side of you. This, is when you know that you have found love.
​
Love gives us the power and strength, to endure any obstacles we encounter, and even if you sometimes feel lost on your journey, you will find guidance in each other's hands, purpose in each other's hearts, and home in each other's arms.
​
You will find, that there will be many tasks and trials on the road ahead of you, but just know, that you will never have to face it alone. You are blessed to move forward in life, having one another to lean on in times of need, as well as to celebrate with in times of joy.
​
As you both look at what is behind you, you will see how far you have come, and how much you have grown. As you look at where you stand now, may you embrace this moment, as it will be one of your greatest landmarks in life. And finally, as you both look at what is ahead of you, you will see a bright future, with a lifetime of memories yet to be made together.

of forming a union that is unstoppable, even by the most difficult of challenges they face in the quest of life.
Life is not a video game, we only have one life, and can not start over, so we look to make the most of it, and
seek out on a journey to find life's greatest treasure...love.
These two are blessed to have found each other, and now as they join forces, they will face the world together,
fighting aside one another, and always having each other's support.
Love is one of the greatest accomplishments, and with this obtained power, you find strength to overcome
any obstacles you shall face.
